Jeff, owner of What the Grill, did a nice job of consulting with us to help us design our outdoor kitchen. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. So far, I’ve cooked appetizers before dinner (we ate dinner out with friends) and this morning I cooked breakfast outside. The Primo ceramic grill is wonderful.

Serving Wilmington, NC
About twenty minutes from our Leland showroom, over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.
Wilmington is a short hop over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge from our Leland showroom, and it is where a lot of our installation work happens. The housing stock varies enormously here, from historic downtown lots with tight access to the newer builds out toward Mayfaire and Autumn Hall. That range is the interesting part. A courtyard behind a historic home and a wide covered patio in Landfall need completely different answers.
Including Landfall, Autumn Hall, Mayfaire, Historic Downtown, Masonboro and the surrounding area.

Do you work on historic downtown Wilmington homes?
Yes. Older downtown properties usually mean tighter access, existing masonry to work around, and sometimes a courtyard rather than an open yard. Those constraints shape the design, so we would rather see the space in person early than design something on paper that cannot get through the gate.
Do you coordinate with builders and designers in Wilmington?
Regularly. We work with homeowners, builders, contractors, and designers throughout the area, and we partner with experienced hardscape professionals for custom masonry outdoor kitchens. If you already have a team, we slot into it rather than working around it.
